With more than 40 years of experience in local government, Jen brings a depth of municipal knowledge that can only come from decades of hands-on experience. Spending her entire municipal career serving the same community gave her the unique opportunity to work across virtually every department of local government, taking on a wide range of responsibilities throughout her career, including serving as the municipality's Tax Collector.

Over the years, Jen became a trusted and knowledgeable resource within the municipality. Working across so many areas gave her an extensive understanding of municipal operations and the many moving pieces that keep a community running. She gained firsthand insight into how departments work together, how decisions in one area can impact another, and how to navigate the day-to-day challenges that come with local government. Her experience made her someone colleagues, residents, and professionals could turn to for answers, guidance, and solutions.

After more than four decades of public service, Jen retired and initially embraced having a little more freedom. She traveled, enjoyed the slower pace, and took some well-earned time for herself. But it didn't take long for her to realize that retirement wasn't quite the end of her story. She missed the work, the people, and the opportunity to make a difference.

That realization ultimately helped inspire ClearPath Municipal Consulting. Jen knew she still had decades of knowledge and experience to share—and plenty more she wanted to accomplish. Having the opportunity to build ClearPath alongside her daughter, Gina, made that next chapter even more meaningful. Today, she is proud to put their combined experience to work helping municipalities, professionals, and communities navigate challenges, find solutions, and move forward with confidence.

Gina began her career in local government right out of high school, joining the same municipality where she would spend the next 15 years building her career. What started as a "Girl Friday" position—helping wherever she was needed—became an opportunity to learn municipal government from the ground up.

Over the years, Gina worked her way through a wide range of responsibilities and departments, gaining hands-on experience in nearly every corner of municipal government. She eventually advanced into management, taking on leadership responsibilities that included managing the municipality's water utility, among many other roles. That journey gave her a unique perspective—not from one position or department, but from years of seeing how the many moving pieces of a municipality connect and operate together.

Working closely with residents, businesses, professionals, elected officials, and municipal staff also gave Gina an understanding of both sides of local government: the internal processes that keep a municipality running and the experience of the people trying to navigate those processes.

After 15 years in local government, Gina decided to take what she had learned and use it in a new way. Together with Jen, she helped create ClearPath Municipal Consulting as a way to put their combined experience to work helping municipalities, professionals, businesses, and residents navigate challenges and find practical solutions.

For Gina, ClearPath is a continuation of what she has spent her career doing: connecting the dots, solving problems, and finding a clear path forward.
